Bledsoe Finds Flag and Returns It To The Town

During the 2016 flood, the Town’s Flag was flying high to remind all that even though a devastating flood we were still proud Americans. After the flood, the flag was taken down, cleaned, and put aside to be flown on special occasions, but the previous administration took it upon themselves to give it away! When Mayor Bledsoe, that was Mayor at the time, found out that the flag, that represented the town was no longer in their possession, he searched and found it and explained the sentimental value and it was gladly returned. Bledsoe presented it back to the Town in the Council Meeting on Sept. 9th. The flag was flown on Sept.11, 2019 in honor of the fallen Americans on Sept. 9, 2001.

Due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the area, and surrounding areas, we have decided to prolong the Printing of The County Times until it is safer to distribute the papers in businesses. We were hoping to be back by now, but the risks are too high. Please stay safe and hopefully we will be back soon.
Thank you, Sug Sams
