Editor’s Note – December 20th, 2019
It’s been a crazy last two weeks with MRI’s, Orthopedics Doctor appointments for Danny and I. Danny has a torn meniscus and will be having surgery early in the new year. My MRI showed a minor meniscus tear and a fractured fibula. The good news is the fibula is a non-weight bearing bone and has already started to heal, so no cast for me and the meniscus tear was minor so no surgery there. It slowed us down a bit in decorating the auction, our parking meter, and our house. We got our tree up thanks to family and friends at Thanksgiving and Danny got some decorations up outside at the house, but nothing like we normally do. Always next year!
Danny and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Safe New Year. We will be taking a few weeks off from the Auction and will resume in January, and the same with The Country Times newspaper.
We would like to think everyone for donating and helping us to exceed our goal for our Toy Drive at Sams Auction. Thanks to our bidders we raised over 120 toys for the kids that otherwise might not have a Christmas. So many has a heart of gold in our area…Thank You!
Until the next issue…Keep Smiling!
