*The good news to start off is that we finally got our camper back, after 2-months of it being in the garage. The bad news is that the dang weather is cold now…always next year! We might sneak a couple nights in at Seneca Rocks to see the beautiful Fall Leaves. **There has been a lot of “whispering” going on about who will be running for the next mayor & council in the election next June. I have it straight from the ones running that they will be throwing their hats “back” in the ring and thank goodness we will have some candidates running that care for our town, not for their personal agendas. These candidates will surprise you. Wish some more of the “Ole Timers” would run, but at least we have some of them with experience and backbone to make our town a place you can be proud of again. Can’t wait to announce these names in January. ***We are into the weather getting cold, and before long the grounds will be freezing, and if the slips don’t get took care of soon, it might be spring before they get to this job, if this happens there could be more than one lawsuit looming. A lawsuit from the company that was awarded the bid of the job and multiples if the roads fall in and residents get hurt or their properties damaged. In my opinion, priorities need to be put to top of the list, not on the back burner because the “rumors” of ulterior motives are more important to the mayor. In my opinion I think the council need to override the mayor when they think there is a wrong happening. I think it is time for news stations to get involved so everyone will know the wrongdoings that seemed to be going on. ****Sams Auction is doing a toy drive to deliver toys right before Christmas to children who otherwise will not have a Christmas. If you want to be a part of helping children out this year get in touch and we will let you know how you can help (304-546-9088). Mr. & Mrs. Claus visits these children and deliver the toys days before Christmas. We get names from schools, churches, police officers, and toys are only given to children who will have nothing if we didn’t do this. We screen the families to make sure that they are in need. We pick the children, they don’t pick us. Our goal is 100 toys. Help us meet this goal.
Until the next issue…Keep Smiling! Sug Sams
