The Cupboard Family Restaurant Opens in Early September
Michelle Parilac’s dream of sharing her grandmother’s and mother’s recipes with the community is coming true. Michelle and her husband Steven will be opening a family restaurant, The Cupboard Family Restaurant, in September where the Ginos were formerly located in Clendenin. Michelle loves to cook; her grandmother was a cook for years in Clay County Schools and taught Michelle to be an excellent cook with recipes that will have residents in the area and out of the area swarming her restaurant to sample her recipes. With the complete country décor of the restaurant to match the cooking, success is in the making.
Michelle’s mother, daughters, sister, niece, and other family members will be working at The Cupboards Family Restaurant to keep it in the family along with 15 other employees in the surrounding area. It’s great to have not only another great restaurant in the area, but to bring jobs to residents that need the income. The Cupboard will feature early breakfasts starting at 6am, then lunch that will start at 11am and run through the dinner crowd until 8pm. With homecooked meals of steaks, pasta, salads, and a large variety of many breakfast and dessert items, this differently will help bring crowds into Clendenin. Michelle says she loves Clendenin and excited to not only help give jobs to the residents, but to bring a great family restaurant where families can sit down and enjoy a home cooked meal. Michelle has a personality that will make all her customers fall in love with her and want to keep coming back. The first week in September is tentatively their opening date.
