Tim Armstead Appointed to the Justice of the WV Supreme Court Of Appeals
September 25th, 2018 Tim Armstead was sworn in as WV Supreme Court of Appeals to fill the vacated seat of Menis Ketchum. Tim Armstead of Elkview resigned his Speaker of the House position he has held since 2015 to run for the Supreme Court position. Tim beliefs are; “The men and women who serve on OUR Supreme Court must be people committed to the highest standards of integrity, honesty and openness.” Tim Armstead said he has upheld these standards throughout his two decades of public service and will bring this same commitment of honesty and transparency to the court. Restoring the integrity of the Court will come one day at a time, according to Armstead. Tim said, “It’s our job to rebuild it and every single day that the judges throughout our state, not only the justices but the judges, do their job and do it fairly and do it competently they help to rebuild that court system.” Tim is one of 10 candidates for the Ketchum seat in the Nov. 6 General Election. .
